Tanaya Jadhav
Tanaya Jadhav is a versatile artist with expertise in Theatre, Dance, and Painting. She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Pune. For the past six years, Tanaya has been learning Bharatnatyam at Kalanilayam in Pune. She also conducts T-shirt painting workshops for children and adults. With experience in performing various plays, Tanaya believes in the power of theatre to influence real-life situations. Her goal is to integrate the core values of Arts and Psychology to promote mental health among children. Tanaya believes that the theatre techniques she will learn in Goshtarang Fellowship will help her in future to combine arts and psychology.
Sayali Joshi
Sayali Joshi is a passionate theatre artist. While completing her degree in computer science at Nanded, she worked in a folk theatre. She moved to Mumbai to focus on theatre as a career and completed a diploma in acting from the Academy of Theatre Arts at Mumbai University. Subsequently she acted in a few experimental plays as well as short films. Inspired by the Goshtarang program, Sayali decided to use her theatre skills to enhance children’s education and build a career in this field.


Sachin Veer
Sachin Veer holds a Diploma in Dramatics from Ramesh Keer Kala Akademi in Ratnagiri and a bachelor’s degree in history. He has been actively involved in the folk arts of Konkan, namely Naman and Jakhadi. Sachin has played lead and co-star roles in web series and short films in Ratnagiri and has acted in many experimental plays and serials in Mumbai. He believes that drama can be a powerful tool to bring books and stories to children in rural areas. For this reason, the Goshtarang Fellowship is very important to him.
Abhishek Dukhande
Abhishek Dukhande hails from Sindhudurg. He has been involved in Bhajans and Dashavatar performances in his village since childhood. After completing his master’s degree from Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune, Abhishek started working in the group Theatre Flamingo in Goa and designed the folk performance ‘Chitrakathi,’ performing in over 100 shows across Maharashtra and other states in India. Since 2017, he has worked with senior theatre practitioner Rajendra Chavan, where he participated in and assisted with several one-act plays for children and theatre workshops. Through his work with children, he realized the need to study children’s literature differently and apply theatre to make stories more engaging. This understanding led him to pursue the Goshtarang Fellowship.


Ganesh Vasave
Ganesh Vasave grew up in Nandurbar, a tribal area in the Satpuda range. He completed his master’s degree at Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune in 2023. After graduation, he worked on experimental and commercial theatre plays and started an organization called ‘Kalashray Sanstha,’ where he designed theatre plays for children. He aims to further his theatre work for children in areas where there is limited exposure to the world of print. He sees Goshtarang as an ideal platform to learn skills and apply them to benefit the children.
Ninad Uchale
Ninad Uchale is a theatre enthusiast who completed his bachelor’s degree in computer science in kankavli, Sindhudurg district. He moved to Pune to pursue a career in theatre and became part of the well-known organization, Theatre Academy, Pune. There, he worked as an administrator at Sakal Lalit Kalaghar, a performing arts venue, under the guidance of Madhuri Purandare and Prasad Purandare. This is where Devdas cultivated his love for children’s theatre. In June 2023, he took the next step in his journey by joining QUEST as a Coordinator for the Goshtarang Program. He is now also a Goshtarang Fellow, to gain field experience of performing for children.
