Damini Jayshri Rajendra
Damini hails from Nashik and has studied theatre at Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune.
She believes that Goshtarang is her medium to use acting, reading, writing, storytelling for society. She wants to collect treasures of stories and songs and reach them out to people. She hopes that she will emerge as a better human being after the Goshtarang Fellowship.
Mayur Sarkale
Mayur is from Pune. After his graduation in Hindi from Fergusson College, he did his Masters in Theatre from Lalit Kala Kendra. He has been involved in theatre for the last 3 years. He felt that he was performing for a set audience. In Goshtarang, he saw an opportunity to use his theatre training meaningfully for education. He likes to read, listen to music, and sing a little.


Yogeshwar Bendre
The ‘theatre bug’ bit Yogeshwar while he was in Solapur, his hometown. During his graduation at Mumbai’s Ruia College, he started performing in plays. He wanted to explore using theatre for a different kind of audience. Hence he applied for the Goshtarang Fellowship. Storytelling gives him immense happiness, which he hopes to share with children through Goshtarang.
Rishikesh Sugandha Sudesh Pradhan
Rishikesh has been working in theatre for the last 9 years. He worked with Tiny Tales, an initiative started by ex-fellows of Goshtarang. Working with children, using theatre for education are familiar concepts for Rishikesh. He has joined Goshtarang to develop a deeper understanding of the same, along with practical experience. His hobbies include drawing, singing, martial arts, physical theatre and wood carving.


Harsha Sharma
Originally from Jalgaon, Harsha moved to Pune to study theatre at Lalit Kala Kendra. She has been involved in theatre for the last 7 years. However, she realized that she was performing mainly in competitions, and felt a need to explore different applications of theatre. Using theatre for education seemed like an interesting idea, hence she came to Goshtarang. She loves dancing, reading and likes spending time with herself.
Vikas Kamble
Vikas completed his graduation in theatre from Lalit Kala Kendra, Pune. His involvement in theatre made him realize that he should enrich himself with a variety of life experiences. He hopes that the Goshtarang Fellowship, with its focus on storytelling for rural children, will provide him with a range of new experiences.
